Farm bill meeting to be held in Maryville


MARYVILLE, Mo. - A meeting over changes made to several programs that assist producers in the northwest Missouri region will be held in Maryville.

County Engagement Specialist in Agriculture and Environment for MU Extension Randa Doty said that a number of programs will be discussed including the 2018 Farm Bill.

She told KXCV/KRNW that the meeting is open to the public, but she encourages producers interested in risk or loss coverage programs to attend.

The meeting will be held Thursday, Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. at the Nodaway County Community building in Maryville. For more information, you can contact the Nodaway County MU Extension Center at 660-582-8101.
